Another West Coast 360 race this Saturday in Hanford with ROY leader Trey Marcham!!

Last Saturday in Tulare, Marcham built on his ‘Rookie of the Year’ points lead scoring another top 10 finish, placing 6th in the truncated feature race. Trey was gaining momentum with a chance to place better though with all the fanfare for the Peter Murphy Classic, the race was checkered at 23 laps in. Marcham now has 8 top ten finishes running WC 360’s and sits at 4th overall in the chase for the Championship with 518 points.


Marcham, hailing from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma will pilot the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / BR Motorsports / Pacific Coast Maintenance / Sun Valley Ag Transport #73. Along with the headlining 360 Sprints will be RaceSaver, IMCA Stocks, Mini's & WRA Sprints. After tonight there will be a 3 week break for the WCSC Series.

Pit gates will open at 2:00, front gates at 4:30 and racing should kick off at 7:00.

Hunter Schuerenberg and Nic Faas in Ventura this Saturday!!

In 2 days we will have two accomplished and skilled open wheel drivers wheeling JFM CRA Sprints at “The Best Little Dirt Track in America.” Ventura Raceway will host this Saturday’s ‘All Coast Challenge’ with a $5000-to-win, $500-to-start 40 lap main event! At press time we have 54 entries!!

Hunter Schuerenberg will be coming off back to back weekends of WoO events in the Midwest when he pulls into Ventura Saturday. Schuerenberg last ran a CRA race with us in early March of this year, scoring a 7th place finish. The 2008 National Sprint Car Rookie of Year has focused on winged sprint car racing in 2015 though has also competed in several other open wheel classes. 15 years of racing for the 25 year old has brought success over the years to this young veteran. Hunter will be in the JFM #73.

Nic Faas drove with JFM for the better part of 2014 running WCSC, WCRS and CRA scoring many top ten and top 5 finishes including a 2nd place finish right here in Ventura! Faas finished 2014 in the top 10 in all three classes when the year came to a close. Nic will be piloting the King Racing Products / Berry Pack JFM #73x.


The track is located on the Ventura County Fairgrounds at 10 West Harbor Blvd. in Ventura, California. The pit gates open at 12 noon with the front gates opening at 3:00pm and racing getting underway about 5:30pm.

Shane Golobic and Ryan Bernal for WoO and USAC CRA in Perris on Saturday!!

We will have a rare treat with having both World of Outlaws and USAC CRA 410 Sprint Car Series together in one event. And JFM will have two of the best open wheel drivers on the track with Golobic and Bernal!

We are happy to have the skills of Shane Golobic out of Fremont, CA wheeling the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / Jimmy May and Mikey Evans tuned JFM winged #73. Shane is having yet another impressive year running primarily winged 360 and 410 sprints. In 2015 Golobic has 8 top ten finishes, a win in the Marysville Civil War on March 20, a 2nd last week at the Calistoga Civil War and with us on our first Outlaw race in March Shane took 12th! Shane has 30 total feature wins, 20 winged feature wins to his credit as well as 10 other open wheel wins in his professional driving career!

Ryan Bernal has won a lot of races, has had a lot of success running in a JFM #73. Bernal, another local out of Hollister, CA is tearing it up this year! Bernal has ran most of the WCSC Series races this year, winning 5 out of 6, last three in a row, and the race he did not win, he finished 2nd!! Bernal has also competed in some winged sprint races this year, just last weekend claiming a 3rd and 10th


Bernal will race his first USAC CRA race of 2015 in the JFM CRA Sprint #73.

Spectator gates will open at 4:00 PM with racing at 7:00.

Western World Championships are tomorrow with Marcham and Darland!!

We will have Western Midget Series championship contender Trey Marcham and ‘The People’s Champ’ Dave Darland all three nights of sprint car racing!!

Tomorrow night will kick off the first of the three day event with the final races for the West Coast Sprint Car Series being played out at the infamous 1/3 mile oval in Peoria.  

Heading in to the weekend’s 3 day, co-sanctioned event, Trey Marcham out of Oklahoma City is just 36 points behind point leader Ronnie Gardner with the next contender well back. Trey will be wheeling the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / A&A Precision CNC Machine TCR #73 Midget. Rookie of the Year in 2013, Marcham, has two Fast Time Awards, two heat race victories and nine top-10 finishes including three wins and three runner-up finishes this year!


Dave Darland has run for JFM many times over the years. This WWC Dave will pilot the Berry Pack / King Racing Products Spike #73 Sprint. Darland, Atlanta IN, needs little introduction. With 30+ years racing, the Hoosier Auto Racing Fans Hall of Fame inductee is a 53 time USAC National Sprint Car winner, three time Indiana Sprint Week Champion and so many more accolades. Darland just claimed 3rd this year in the Amsoil National Sprint Series that wrapped up last weekend here at Canyon.

Kevin Thomas Jr and Markus Niemelä next Thursday at the Oval Nationals in Perris!

Next week will be the 19th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals at the PAS with $5,000 to win the prelim night and the finale on Saturday night pays $20,000 to win! This is an incredible event with the best sprint car drivers this sport has to offer in attendance. The event will be televised on MAVTV! Last year’s winner Dave Darland will be defending as well as signing copies of his book, “The Peoples, Champ,” for sale at the signing.

Markus Niemelä, Rauma Finland will be wheeling the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / A&A Precision CNC Machine 360 Sprint #73 on Thursday November 6th. Niemelä is a talented, consistent driver and has run the 360 for us pretty much all season. Markus is solidly 2nd in the points for the West Coast Sprint Car Series with this being the last point’s race of 2014 for the 360’s. Niemelä is 28 points out of the lead behind Yorba Linda’s Matt Mitchell.

Kevin Thomas Jr out of Indy will pilot the 360 #73x on Thursday and the #73 410 on Friday and Saturday.th  KT has driven the CRA for JFM the later part of this season grabbing 4 top 5 and 2 second place finishes! Thomas runs the AMSOIL National Sprints where he is 12 overall as well as National Midget Dirt.

Trey Marcham will be running his first West Coast Sprint Car Series race this Saturday in Tulare!

Marcham, coming out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is known for winning the Western Midget 2013 Rookie of The Year and currently 2nd in the Western Midget Dirt and Western Midget overall points for 2014. This Saturday in Tulare, Trey will hop into a 360 Sprint and wheel the King Racing Products / Berry Pack 360 JFM #73!

Marcham’s first WCSC Series race will be in Tulare at the ‘Lightning Fast 1/3 Mile Clay Oval’ at the Thunderbowl Raceway. The raceway is at the Tulare Fairgrounds on Bardsley & K Street. The front gate will open at 4pm with racing expected to get underway around 7. Reserved grandstand seats for the Cotton Classic on Saturday will cost $25 with general admission bleacher tickets $20. The front gate will open at 4pm with racing expected to get underway around 7pm.

Also on the ‘Cotton Classic’ dance card will be King of the West 410 Sprint Cars, Legends of Kerney Bowl and Super Modifieds.

Marcham WIN Number 3 of 2014!! | Upcoming schedule changes for JFM

Marcham wins the ‘Monster Energy Recycling Night’ in Bakersfield last Saturday! Third win of 2014!!

Trey Marcham qualified in the middle of the 20 Midgets signed in, 10th overall with a 13.881 time. Trey placed 3rd in his heat race. Going into the main had Marcham starting near the middle of the field. Surging from the green flag, Trey moved up quickly to take the lead from Alex Schutte in lap 10. Marcham lead through the remainder of the 30 lap feature to take the checkered flag.

Coming up for JFM

Trey Marcham will compete in his first ever Sprint Car race on October 11th in Tulare!!

We will be off for the next few weeks with some schedule adjustments. Visalia cancelled earlier in the year for the Midget race on the 27th. We apologize for it still being on the 2014 JFM Schedule. We decided not to go to Canyon this Saturday for the WCSC race or to Petaluma on October 4th for the WCRS event.

Marcham in Bakersfield this Saturday for USAC Midget racing!!

Trey Marcham, Oklahoma City, is currently second in the dirt and third in the overall combined point standings. Marcham won the here on May 3rd of this year and will look to gain ground on the points leader Ronnie Gardner this Saturday. Trey, in his last race, again took the podium finishing 2nd at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico. He has two Fast Time Awards and 8 Top Ten finishes this season.

Marcham will be running the potent Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine #73 with Mikey Evans tuning. Evans was manning the wrenches in Bakersfield for the May 3rd win.

Saturday’s event will be the 100th appearance of the USAC Western Midgets at Bakersfield Speedway and the second time of 2014.

JFM has West Coast Sprint Car leader Markus Niemelä and Nic Faas at Kings Saturday!

Markus Niemelä, Rauma Finland, has held the top spot in the WCSC Series for the better part of the season. He will bring a 40 point lead over second place Matt Mitchell with him to the track on Saturday night. Niemelä placed eighth last weekend in Tulare, though he had 4 top 4 finishes the previous 4 races. Wheeling for Josh Ford Motorsports, Niemela will be in the Spike JFM #73 Sprint.

Faas will be piloting a King Racing Products / Berry Pack / A&A Precision CNC Machine #73x! Faas has had a great year running mostly CRA in 2014. Nic is 8th in the WCSC claiming two 4th place and two 2nd place finishes in the last 4 WCSC Series runs. Faas is currently 2nd in the CRA point’s race.

Kings Speedway has 4 other classes competing Saturday night with the USAC Sprints. The RaceSaver Wing Sprints, IMCA Mods, IMCA Stock, Mini Stock will be part of the evenings events. It’s shaping up to be an exciting evening! Come to the track.

Faas, Niemelä and Bernal at Ventura Raceway this Saturday!

Josh Ford Motorsports will have 3 very accomplished sprint car drivers running for us in Ventura on Saturday. This is the first time Ventura has hosted an Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series race since 2010.

Nic Faas has been strong all this year, coming off an exciting 4th place showing in Perris last weekend. Faas, hometown Huntington Beach, CA, has placed in the top 6 in every CRA race of 2014. Nic ranks 2nd in the Points race with 247 and will pilot the JFM Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine #73.

Markus Niemelä, Rauma Finland, has been driving for JFM for many west coast sprint races in 2014 with great success. Markus is currently leading the West Coast Sprint Car Series, placing in the top ten every race entered. Niemelä will be wheeling the JFM Berry Pack / King Racing Products #73x.

20 year old Ryan Bernal out of Hollister, CA, a west coast favorite has driven for several teams this year and is truly a talented and fun driver to watch. Bernal is second in the Western Classic Series this year. We are excited to have him running the JFM #73f for us this weekend.
