In 2 days we will have two accomplished and skilled open wheel drivers wheeling JFM CRA Sprints at “The Best Little Dirt Track in America.” Ventura Raceway will host this Saturday’s ‘All Coast Challenge’ with a $5000-to-win, $500-to-start 40 lap main event! At press time we have 54 entries!!

Hunter Schuerenberg will be coming off back to back weekends of WoO events in the Midwest when he pulls into Ventura Saturday. Schuerenberg last ran a CRA race with us in early March of this year, scoring a 7^th place finish. The 2008 National Sprint Car Rookie of Year has focused on winged sprint car racing in 2015 though has also competed in several other open wheel classes. 15 years of racing for the 25 year old has brought success over the years to this young veteran. Hunter will be in the JFM #73.

Nic Faas drove with JFM for the better part of 2014 running WCSC, WCRS and CRA scoring many top ten and top 5 finishes including a 2^nd place finish right here in Ventura! Faas finished 2014 in the top 10 in all three classes when the year came to a close. Nic will be piloting the King Racing Products / Berry Pack JFM #73x.

The track is located on the Ventura County Fairgrounds at 10 West Harbor Blvd. in Ventura, California. The pit gates open at 12 noon with the front gates opening at 3:00pm and racing getting underway about 5:30pm.

Out of Huntington Beach, ‘Cali Ace’, Nic Faas will be piloting the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / JFM #73 for two 410 Sprint Car races this weekend. Coming off a northern Cali swing last weekend in Watsonville and Petaluma, the CRA Sprints will run again for the ‘Firecracker 40’ in Perris and then on to Santa Maria for the ‘Party at the Coast / Doug Fort Memorial’. Faas will race in the CRA both nights. Nic is currently second in points for the CRA Sprint Series claiming a 4^th and 7^th in last weekend races and has 5 top five finishes this year.

The 2013 USAC-Western States Midget Rookie-of-the-Year, Trey Marcham has won the last two Western Midget races! He won May 3^rd in Bakersfield and May 31^st at the Thunderbowl in Tulare. Marcham is leading the points chase this year in the Western Midget Dirt Series by nearly 30 points. Trey will wheel the Berry Pack JFM Midget #73 for the ‘Party at the Coast / Doug Fort Memorial’ race in Santa Maria on Saturday.

Michael Pickens, New Zealand, will be piloting the Keith Ford / Berry Pack / King Racing Products JFM #73x. Pickens brings vast talent to track that has produced some winning results! Michael is the current New Zealand Midget Champion, has claimed that title an astounding 6 times, Winner NZ leg of POWRi World International Midget Series and most recently raced Indiana Midget Week and King of the West just last week here at Ocean Speedway where he took 12^th.

‘Cali Ace’ Nic Faas out of Huntington Beach will be wheeling the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / A&A Precision CNC Machine JFM #73. Faas is currently 2^nd in points and will be looking to make up some ground on leader Damion Gardner over the weekend. Nic, 2008 USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year, has a second, third and 2 fourth finishes running CRA in 2014. Faas has 10 main event CRA wins to his credit!

In Watsonville at Ocean Speedway tomorrow night the pit gate will open at 2:00pm, the drivers meeting & pill draw closes at 4:30pm and the front gate will let the fans in at 4:30pm!

In Petaluma on Saturday night the grandstands open at 4:00pm, qualifying at 5:00, racing at 6:30 pm.

He will bring a 40 point lead over second place Matt Mitchell with him to the track on Saturday night. Niemelä placed eighth last weekend in Tulare, though he had 4 top 4 finishes the previous 4 races. Wheeling for Josh Ford Motorsports, Niemela will be in the Spike JFM #73 Sprint.

Josh Ford Motorsports will have 3 very accomplished sprint car drivers running for us in Ventura on Saturday. This is the first time Ventura has hosted an Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series race since 2010.

Nic Faas has been strong all this year, coming off an exciting 4^th place showing in Perris last weekend. Faas, hometown Huntington Beach, CA, has placed in the top 6 in every CRA race of 2014. Nic ranks 2^nd in the Points race with 247 and will pilot the JFM Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine #73.

Markus Niemelä, Rauma Finland, has been driving for JFM for many west coast sprint races in 2014 with great success. Markus is currently leading the West Coast Sprint Car Series, placing in the top ten every race entered. Niemelä will be wheeling the JFM Berry Pack / King Racing Products #73x.

20 year old Ryan Bernal out of Hollister, CA, a west coast favorite has driven for several teams this year and is truly a talented and fun driver to watch. Bernal is second in the Western Classic Series this year. We are excited to have him running the JFM #73f for us this weekend.

Nic goes into Saturday’s race second behind Damion Gardner in points. Faas out of Huntington Beach, CA has placed 3^rd and 4^th here the last 2 races! Faas has been strong and consistent all year. Faas will be piloting the always potent A&A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack / King Racing Products JFM #73.

Spectator gates for the open wheel spectacular will open at 5:00 PM and the first race will go green at 7:00. The campground will open at noon on Friday. Tailgating in the spectator parking lot will begin at 1:00 PM for all PAS events as well.

Faas and JFM are heading to Calistoga this weekend for the first Western Classic Racing Series race of 2014!

‘Cali Ace’, Nic Faas, Huntington Beach, CA, piloting the JFM King Racing Products / A & A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack #73’s has made the podium 3 times in three races!! If that’s not enough, Nic has placed in the top ten in the last 7 races he’s started, 2^nd in the USAC CRA points race and 4^th in the West Coast Sprint Car Series points race!

When we started the season we stated we were going to try and run all the WCSC, all the CRA, many of the Midget and Classic races. Well we said, “JFM is putting together a 2014 Schedule geared toward competing strongly in both the USAC CRA Sprint Car Series and the West Coast Sprint Car Series.” The JFM drivers this year are running in the top 5 in all the West coast sprint series’, Faas in two different classes!

Josh Ford Motorsports, with the talented Ryan Bernal out of Hollister, won the points race for the Western Classic Racing Series last year.

This is the first time at Calistoga that points will only be earned under the USAC Western Classic banner at this ½ mile, celebrated “Home of the Louie Vermeil Classic” track.

$2000 will go to the winner on both Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at 3pm. Racing starts at 7pm Saturday and 6pm Sunday.

Nic Faas and Trey Marcham for Copper on Dirt 2014 - February, 28th and March 1st!!

JFM, with crew chief Jimmy May, is packing up the 73’s and headed to Peoria, AZ!

This is The ‘COPPER on DIRT’ at Canyon Speedway Park and we will running both the CRA Sprints and the Midgets as this will start the 2014 Championship Season for the USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series and USAC Western States Midgets.

Nic Faas will be piloting the Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine Sprint #73. Nic will be with us all year running the CRA and West Coast Sprints with some Western Classic peppered in there. Faas, out of Huntington Beach, CA, finished 3^rd overall last year for the CRA Series and finished 6^th in points at the recent Winter Challenge!

We will also have up and coming Trey Marcham, New Castle, OK, in the Midget #73. Trey ran strong and represented JFM well with Faas in this year’s Chili Bowl. Trey just recently took the 2013 USAC-Western States Midget Rookie-of-the-Year honor!!

Josh Ford Motorsports is happy to announce we will have Trey Marcham, out of New Castle, OK wheeling the JFM midget at Canyon for ‘Copper on Dirt’ February 28 & March 1!

JFM and Nic Faas at Canyon in 2 weeks – Copper on Dirt! February 28 & March 1

Josh Ford Motorsports will race Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, AZ for ‘The Copper on Dirt’ which will kick off of the 2014 Championship Season for the USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series and USAC Western States Midgets.

As we have stated before the racing season began, JFM is focused on competing strongly in both the USAC CRA Sprint Car Series and the West Coast Sprint Car Series through 2014. Faas and JFM are quickly getting acclimated and comfortable with the Chili Bowl and Winter Challenge providing some great insight and solid racing for us.

Nic Faas, the ‘Cali Ace’ out of Huntington Beach, CA fared very well at the 300 cars deep and very competitive Chili Bowl. Faas with Jimmy May wrenching, piloted the Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine #73 Sprint to claim 6^th overall at the Winter Challenge 2014 with some consistent and rock solid driving!

WINTER CHALLENGE 2014 - NIC FAAS & JFM

The first 3 nights of the 2014 Winter Challenge are in the books.

With the new season just getting started, JFM has picked up the talents of a fairly young, though very experienced and skilled driver in Nic Faas out of Huntington Beach, CA. for the 2014 season. Faas, running the King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack #73 drove his way directly to the A Main each of the first 3 nights of the this year's Winter Challenge which put him 10th overall in points with 117 so far for this event.

The new season for the USAC SouthWest and West Coast Sprint Cars will get underway this Friday, January 24th, at Canyon Speedway in Peoria. Featuring six races in nine nights, the “3rd Annual Winter Challenge” will draw many talented drivers from across the country in the non-point "Arizona Speed Week." In addition to the races, there will be an open practice on Thursday night from 6pm to 9pm and the annual “Winter Challenge Bowling Tournament” will be on January 28th. We had a great time at this 28th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals at River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, OK!

Trey Marcham and Nic Faas have been just great and we can't say enough about them both!! Thanks guys!

Trey and Nic both made it to the Main Event each night in their respective Qualifying Nights. They both finished 16th in those Feature races so that put them to start 11th and 12th in the C-Feature 2 in Saturday's 'Big Show'.

We will have the skilled wheelman Nic Faas out of Huntington Beach, running the CRA and West Coast races while the talented Marcus Niemela from Rauma, Finland will be running the West Coast and some of the CRA as well. Both of these drivers are very well known and have been racing in some form or another from a very early age. JFM Announces the drivers for Chili Bowl Nationals 2014!

Nic Faas and Trey Marcham will be driving for Josh Ford Motorsports in the 2014 Chili Bowl.

NIC FAAS - #73

Nic Faas, born Sptember 29^th, 1989, out of Huntington Beach, CA has been racing his whole life, ad racing well! Nic moved quickly from BMX racing at age 5 to Quarter Midget racing at 7, where he had an illustrious 7 years with many championships including 3 Regional Southwest Championships, 5 California Monza Championships, 4 Winter National Championships, 2 100 Lapper Championships and 1 National Championship!

Faas started racing Midgets in 2006 getting a Ford Focus Midget where he ran a full season in the Dirt Series. In 2007 he ran both pavement and dirt and had a successful rookie year winning the dirt and getting 2^nd on pavement. In 2008 he was signed to run for Western Speed Racing moving up to the 410 Sprints where he won Rookie of The Year.

Nic has placed in the Top 10 in his last 10 races, winning the last 2 sanctioned races!

We are just one month away from the one of best and biggest national midget events of the year! Kevin Swindell has dominated the Chili Bowl Nationals for years. JFM with Nic Faas and Trey Marcham will look to put a stop to this dynasty.

TREY MARCHAM - #73x

Trey Marcham out of New Castle, OK is an experienced driver with over 11 years’ experience racing A-Class, Non-wing, and Multi/Outlaw dirt cars on tracks in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, and Illinois.

He has experience racing USAC and BCRA midgets in California and Arizona.

He also has two years’ experience racing NASCAR late models on asphalt in North and South Carolina and Tennessee, running in both the Southeast Limited Late Model and the United Auto Racing Association (UARA) series. Given the multiple venues and styles of cars, he has proven that he is able to read the track and other driver styles to be able to make appropriate adjustment, find fast lines, and pass other drivers to take the lead. He is a 6-time point champion and 3-time Rookie of the Year winner. Recent honors include winning the USAC Western States Midget Rookie of the Year honors, winning the BCRA midget race in Petaluma Speedway in California, sweeping two twin late model feature races at Myrtle Beach Speedway, and winning both the A-Class and Non-wing A Features at the 2012 Inaugural Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial/Race4Life in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
