California Sprint week kicks off with the 8^th Annual Louie Vermeil Classic!! JFM is excited to have 3 of the best drivers for this famed event! The 2-day purse for both divisions is over $ 80,000!!

Brady Bacon, Broken Arrow, OK is 4^th in the Amsoil National Sprint Series and 12 wins in 2015 alone will be running both the #73 Sprint and #73x Midget on Saturday, September 5^th.

Kevin Thomas Jr., out of Cullman, Indiana, has 8 Feature wins this year and is currently 6^th in the National Sprint Championship race! Kevin will be driving both the #73 Sprint and #73x Midget on Sunday, September 6^th. KT will also be in Petaluma with us on the Monday the 7^th and on Chico on Thursday the 10^th running the CRA Sprints.

Trey Marcham hailing from Oklahoma City has run with us all year primarily West Coast Sprints. Marcham leads the ROY chase and is 3^rd in Championship points in his rookie year! Marcham will pilot the 73 Midget both Saturday the 5^th and Sunday the 6^th. Trey will also run the Midgets on Thursday the 10^th in Chico at Silver Dollar Speedway.

Trey Marcham qualified in the middle of the 20 Midgets signed in, 10^th overall with a 13.881 time. Trey placed 3^rd in his heat race. Going into the main had Marcham starting near the middle of the field. Surging from the green flag, Trey moved up quickly to take the lead from Alex Schutte in lap 10. Marcham lead through the remainder of the 30 lap feature to take the checkered flag.

Coming up for JFM

Trey Marcham will compete in his first ever Sprint Car race on October 11^th in Tulare!!

We will be off for the next few weeks with some schedule adjustments. Visalia cancelled earlier in the year for the Midget race on the 27^th. We apologize for it still being on the 2014 JFM Schedule. We decided not to go to Canyon this Saturday for the WCSC race or to Petaluma on October 4^th for the WCRS event.

California Sprint Week continues in Chico at Silver Dollar Speedway tomorrow night for the USAC CRA Sprint Car Series! The third of 5 days in 8 of racing on the west coast will pick up again tomorrow in Chico.

Kevin Thomas Jr will be wheeling the King Racing Products / Berry Pack #73 CRA Sprint.

On Sunday in Calistoga Thomas took 2nd and on the second day of the Louie Vermeil Classic and placed seventh on Saturday the 30th. KT is currently tied for 3^rd in Sprint Week Point Standings!
