Marcham wins the ‘Monster Energy Recycling Night’ in Bakersfield last Saturday! Third win of 2014!!

Trey Marcham qualified in the middle of the 20 Midgets signed in, 10^th overall with a 13.881 time. Trey placed 3^rd in his heat race. Going into the main had Marcham starting near the middle of the field. Surging from the green flag, Trey moved up quickly to take the lead from Alex Schutte in lap 10. Marcham lead through the remainder of the 30 lap feature to take the checkered flag.

Coming up for JFM

Trey Marcham will compete in his first ever Sprint Car race on October 11^th in Tulare!!

We will be off for the next few weeks with some schedule adjustments. Visalia cancelled earlier in the year for the Midget race on the 27^th. We apologize for it still being on the 2014 JFM Schedule. We decided not to go to Canyon this Saturday for the WCSC race or to Petaluma on October 4^th for the WCRS event.

Trey Marcham, Oklahoma City, is currently second in the dirt and third in the overall combined point standings. Marcham won the here on May 3rd of this year and will look to gain ground on the points leader Ronnie Gardner this Saturday. Trey, in his last race, again took the podium finishing 2^nd at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico. He has two Fast Time Awards and 8 Top Ten finishes this season.

Marcham will be running the potent Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine #73 with Mikey Evans tuning. Evans was manning the wrenches in Bakersfield for the May 3^rd win.

Saturday’s event will be the 100th appearance of the USAC Western Midgets at Bakersfield Speedway and the second time of 2014.

Faas at Perris Auto Speedway and Marcham in Bakersfield this Saturday!!

On Saturday, May 3^rd, we will be at Bakersfield Speedway with Trey Marcham.

Trey, New Castle, OK, is currently 3^rd in the Points Race for the Midgets in 2014 just 5 points out of the lead early in the Western Midget season.

Gates will open at 4:00, Racing scheduled for 6:00 at ‘The West’s Fastest 1/3-Mile High Banked Clay Oval’. Marcham will be piloting the Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC TCR JFM #73 with Mikey Evans tuning.

Nic goes into Saturday’s race second behind Damion Gardner in points. Faas out of Huntington Beach, CA has placed 3^rd and 4^th here the last 2 races! Faas has been strong and consistent all year. Faas will be piloting the always potent A&A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack / King Racing Products JFM #73.

Spectator gates for the open wheel spectacular will open at 5:00 PM and the first race will go green at 7:00. The campground will open at noon on Friday. Tailgating in the spectator parking lot will begin at 1:00 PM for all PAS events as well.

West Coast, CRA and Western Midget Point Races heating up! Niemela running WC 360's in Bakersfield this Saturday!

Josh Ford Motorsports drivers have been solid through the first few point’s races of the early 2014 season and it's paid off with both Markus Niemelä and Nic Faas firmly in second place in the USAC/CRA and WCSC Series Points respectively and Trey Marcham in third for the Western Midgets!! Niemelä is just 4 points out of the top spot, Faas 20 with Marcham just 5 points out of the lead as well, in third, for the Western Midget Series!

Bakersfield Speedway will host the next WCSC Series race. Niemelä will be wheeling the potent A&A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack / King Racing Products #73 sprint, see if he can make a push for the lead.
