Trey Marcham hailing from Oklahoma City will take 3 top ten finishes into Santa Maria this weekend. Trey leads in the Rookie of the Year chase and is currently 5^th overall in the WCSC Series championship run!

Marcham is a great guy, talented and smart driver with a bevy of accolades through the years. With more laps under his belt, Trey just gains in confidence and gets faster and faster. We are excited to put him in the driver’s seat of the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / Pacific Coast Maintenance Service #73 whenever we can.

Ryan Bernal, Richard and Jace Vander Weerd, Jeff Sibley, Landon Hurst and many others are sure to be in attendance as well this Saturday.

Last year’s USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Champion, winner first round Winter Challenge 2014 and just an incredibly accomplished driver, Brady Bacon, will wheel the King Racing Products / Berry Pack #73 for Josh Ford Motorsports in 2015!

Winter Challenge will have the sprints compete in three $2,000 and two $4,000 to win events over the five day event. The top five in the series will earn the E&K Winter Challenge Bonus along with the Most Valuable Racer collecting up $500. Practice and the first three rounds will be held at Canyon Speedway from January 22^nd through 26^th with the last two hosted by USA Raceway on January 30^th and 31^st with practice on the 29^th.

Bacon hailing from Broken Arrow, OK had an outstanding 2014 with ten 1^st Place and a slew of top 5 finishes that netted Brady the National Championship over Clauson and Darland. 24 year old Bacon has raced from age 15 in 1990 and will be having his 25^th birthday day after the 3^rd Round of Winter Challenge on January 26th. If you follow sprint racing at any level, you are sure to be familiar with one of the most celebrated in the sport, Brady Bacon.

Just a little more than a month from now, we will kick off our 2015 race season at the Chili Bowl in Tulsa.

We will again have 2013 Rookie of the Year recipient Trey Marcham. Marcham had another incredibly strong showing in the Western Midget and Western Midget Dirt series’ running with us all year. Trey finished solidly second in both, leading for a good part of that. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma’s Trey Marcham is a smart, consistent and exciting driver to watch taking 3 wins and 9 top ten finishes in 2014!

We are happy to announce that we will put WoO sensation, David Gravel, in a King Racing Products / Berry Pack / JFM midget for this year’s Chili Bowl! David had a great 2014 season running the Roth #83 into 10th place in the 2014 World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series. Gravel had his first WoO win in November of 2011 and this year at the WoO banquet celebrated 5 wins, 25 top-5s, 53 top-10s & 11 quick times!

We will have Western Midget Series championship contender Trey Marcham and ‘The People’s Champ’ Dave Darland all three nights of sprint car racing!!

Tomorrow night will kick off the first of the three day event with the final races for the West Coast Sprint Car Series being played out at the infamous 1/3 mile oval in Peoria.  

Heading in to the weekend’s 3 day, co-sanctioned event, Trey Marcham out of Oklahoma City is just 36 points behind point leader Ronnie Gardner with the next contender well back. Trey will be wheeling the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / A&A Precision CNC Machine TCR #73 Midget. Rookie of the Year in 2013, Marcham, has two Fast Time Awards, two heat race victories and nine top-10 finishes including three wins and three runner-up finishes this year!

Dave Darland has run for JFM many times over the years. This WWC Dave will pilot the Berry Pack / King Racing Products Spike #73 Sprint. Darland, Atlanta IN, needs little introduction. With 30+ years racing, the Hoosier Auto Racing Fans Hall of Fame inductee is a 53 time USAC National Sprint Car winner, three time Indiana Sprint Week Champion and so many more accolades. Darland just claimed 3^rd this year in the Amsoil National Sprint Series that wrapped up last weekend here at Canyon.

Next week will be the 19^th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals at the PAS with $5,000 to win the prelim night and the finale on Saturday night pays $20,000 to win! This is an incredible event with the best sprint car drivers this sport has to offer in attendance. The event will be televised on MAVTV! Last year’s winner Dave Darland will be defending as well as signing copies of his book, “The Peoples, Champ,” for sale at the signing.

Markus Niemelä, Rauma Finland will be wheeling the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / A&A Precision CNC Machine 360 Sprint #73 on Thursday November 6^th. Niemelä is a talented, consistent driver and has run the 360 for us pretty much all season. Markus is solidly 2^nd in the points for the West Coast Sprint Car Series with this being the last point’s race of 2014 for the 360’s. Niemelä is 28 points out of the lead behind Yorba Linda’s Matt Mitchell.

Kevin Thomas Jr out of Indy will pilot the 360 #73x on Thursday and the #73 410 on Friday and Saturday.^th  KT has driven the CRA for JFM the later part of this season grabbing 4 top 5 and 2 second place finishes! Thomas runs the AMSOIL National Sprints where he is 12 overall as well as National Midget Dirt.

Trey Marcham will be running his first West Coast Sprint Car Series race this Saturday in Tulare!

Marcham, coming out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is known for winning the Western Midget 2013 Rookie of The Year and currently 2^nd in the Western Midget Dirt and Western Midget overall points for 2014. This Saturday in Tulare, Trey will hop into a 360 Sprint and wheel the King Racing Products / Berry Pack 360 JFM #73!

Marcham’s first WCSC Series race will be in Tulare at the ‘Lightning Fast 1/3 Mile Clay Oval’ at the Thunderbowl Raceway. The raceway is at the Tulare Fairgrounds on Bardsley & K Street. The front gate will open at 4pm with racing expected to get underway around 7. Reserved grandstand seats for the Cotton Classic on Saturday will cost $25 with general admission bleacher tickets $20. The front gate will open at 4pm with racing expected to get underway around 7pm.

Also on the ‘Cotton Classic’ dance card will be King of the West 410 Sprint Cars, Legends of Kerney Bowl and Super Modifieds.

Trey Marcham qualified in the middle of the 20 Midgets signed in, 10^th overall with a 13.881 time. Trey placed 3^rd in his heat race. Going into the main had Marcham starting near the middle of the field. Surging from the green flag, Trey moved up quickly to take the lead from Alex Schutte in lap 10. Marcham lead through the remainder of the 30 lap feature to take the checkered flag.

Trey Marcham will compete in his first ever Sprint Car race on October 11^th in Tulare!!

We will be off for the next few weeks with some schedule adjustments. Visalia cancelled earlier in the year for the Midget race on the 27^th. We apologize for it still being on the 2014 JFM Schedule. We decided not to go to Canyon this Saturday for the WCSC race or to Petaluma on October 4^th for the WCRS event.

Last year’s ‘Vermeil Classic’ we had Bryan Clauson taking 3^rd in the and Kyle Larson winning!

This year we again have some of the top drivers with Robert Ballou in the #73 Sprint, Kevin Thomas Jr. in the #73x Sprint and Trey Marcham in the #73 Midget.

Trey Marcham from Oklahoma City will be leading the Midgets into Calistoga this Saturday. Trey currently out front in the Western Midget Dirt and overall Western Midget Series point’s races! Marcham has won twice, placed 2^nd twice and taken 3^rd in his last 6 midget races! Trey was runner up in Petaluma on August 9^th. Marcham will be wheeling the JFM #73 Midget.

Kevin Thomas Jr. coming out of Indianapolis, Indiana, is coming off a 2^nd place USAC CRA finish on August 16^th driving for JFM for the first time this year at Perris Speedway. KT has been running both the AMSOIL National Sprints and the National Midget Dirt in 2014. Saturday Thomas was 6^th in Kokomo and then Monday, final day of the Sprint Car Smackdown III, won his heat race and finished 8^th. KT will pilot the King Racing Products / Berry Pack #73x Sprint.

Robert Ballou also hangs his hat in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ballou is currently 9^th in the AMSOIL National Sprint Series, winning in Putnamville in July and just Monday was runner up in the 40 lap feature in Kokomo, Indiana at Smackdown 3! Driving for JFM in 2011, Robert won his first career Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series right here on the opening night of the 4th Annual Louie Vermeil Classic! Ballou will drive the JFM #73 Sprint. Schedule Adjustments for JFM - Farewell to Kings Speedway

We will be in Ventura this Saturday July 19th for a USAC West Coast 360 race!

The CRA / Midget at Kings Speedway has been cancelled.

With Kings Speedway leaving the 17^th of this month, three of the scheduled races on the JFM Schedule have been cancelled including the race this weekend in Hanford. However, JFM will be in Ventura with point’s leader Markus Niemelä for a combined VRA 360 Sprint Cars and the USAC West Coast 360 Series Sprint Cars event! More information on that race tomorrow!

Two of the scheduled races at Kings, the Cotton Classic and Dirt Nationals, have been moved to the Thunderbowl in Tulare. We have made the adjustments to the JFM Schedule for the 3 remaining races on our schedule and will put out updates to the schedule if we plan to hit another venue in lieu of those cancelled races.

Michael Pickens, New Zealand, will be piloting the Keith Ford / Berry Pack / King Racing Products JFM #73x. Pickens brings vast talent to track that has produced some winning results! Michael is the current New Zealand Midget Champion, has claimed that title an astounding 6 times, Winner NZ leg of POWRi World International Midget Series and most recently raced Indiana Midget Week and King of the West just last week here at Ocean Speedway where he took 12^th.

‘Cali Ace’ Nic Faas out of Huntington Beach will be wheeling the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / A&A Precision CNC Machine JFM #73. Faas is currently 2^nd in points and will be looking to make up some ground on leader Damion Gardner over the weekend. Nic, 2008 USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year, has a second, third and 2 fourth finishes running CRA in 2014. Faas has 10 main event CRA wins to his credit!

In Watsonville at Ocean Speedway tomorrow night the pit gate will open at 2:00pm, the drivers meeting & pill draw closes at 4:30pm and the front gate will let the fans in at 4:30pm!

In Petaluma on Saturday night the grandstands open at 4:00pm, qualifying at 5:00, racing at 6:30 pm.

Niemela will bring his 39 point lead in the West Coast Sprint Car Series to continue his pursuit of the title. Niemela and 2014 have worked together to put together some great races and results. Coming off a 3^rd just 2 weeks back right here and placing in the top 4 the last 4 races running, Markus will be looking for the win and to widen the gap in the points race. Niemela will be in the Spike #73 Sprint.

Marcham out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma leads the Western Midget Dirt Series, second in the Western Midgets and is coming off a WIN in his last race early this month on May 3^rd at Bakersfield Speedway! 2014 obviously has been good for Trey as well. Marcham will be piloting a King Racing Products / Berry Pack / A & A Precision CNC Machine Midget TCR #73.

Josh Ford Motorsports will have 3 very accomplished sprint car drivers running for us in Ventura on Saturday. This is the first time Ventura has hosted an Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series race since 2010.

Nic Faas has been strong all this year, coming off an exciting 4^th place showing in Perris last weekend. Faas, hometown Huntington Beach, CA, has placed in the top 6 in every CRA race of 2014. Nic ranks 2^nd in the Points race with 247 and will pilot the JFM Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine #73.

Markus Niemelä, Rauma Finland, has been driving for JFM for many west coast sprint races in 2014 with great success. Markus is currently leading the West Coast Sprint Car Series, placing in the top ten every race entered. Niemelä will be wheeling the JFM Berry Pack / King Racing Products #73x.

20 year old Ryan Bernal out of Hollister, CA, a west coast favorite has driven for several teams this year and is truly a talented and fun driver to watch. Bernal is second in the Western Classic Series this year. We are excited to have him running the JFM #73f for us this weekend.

West Coast, CRA and Western Midget Point Races heating up! Niemela running WC 360's in Bakersfield this Saturday!

Josh Ford Motorsports drivers have been solid through the first few point’s races of the early 2014 season and it's paid off with both Markus Niemelä and Nic Faas firmly in second place in the USAC/CRA and WCSC Series Points respectively and Trey Marcham in third for the Western Midgets!! Niemelä is just 4 points out of the top spot, Faas 20 with Marcham just 5 points out of the lead as well, in third, for the Western Midget Series!

Bakersfield Speedway will host the next WCSC Series race. Niemelä will be wheeling the potent A&A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack / King Racing Products #73 sprint, see if he can make a push for the lead.

This is The ‘COPPER on DIRT’ at Canyon Speedway Park and we will running both the CRA Sprints and the Midgets as this will start the 2014 Championship Season for the USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series and USAC Western States Midgets.

Nic Faas will be piloting the Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine Sprint #73. Nic will be with us all year running the CRA and West Coast Sprints with some Western Classic peppered in there. Faas, out of Huntington Beach, CA, finished 3^rd overall last year for the CRA Series and finished 6^th in points at the recent Winter Challenge!

We will also have up and coming Trey Marcham, New Castle, OK, in the Midget #73. Trey ran strong and represented JFM well with Faas in this year’s Chili Bowl. Trey just recently took the 2013 USAC-Western States Midget Rookie-of-the-Year honor!!

Open practice for THE COPPER ON DIRT tomorrow going from 6 PM to 9 PM.

Friday at 4 PM the gates will open here in Peoria and the racing will get underway about 7 PM. Saturday will have the same schedule as Friday. All times MTZ.

JFM and Nic Faas at Canyon in 2 weeks – Copper on Dirt! February 28 & March 1

Josh Ford Motorsports will race Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, AZ for ‘The Copper on Dirt’ which will kick off of the 2014 Championship Season for the USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series and USAC Western States Midgets.

As we have stated before the racing season began, JFM is focused on competing strongly in both the USAC CRA Sprint Car Series and the West Coast Sprint Car Series through 2014. Faas and JFM are quickly getting acclimated and comfortable with the Chili Bowl and Winter Challenge providing some great insight and solid racing for us.

Nic Faas, the ‘Cali Ace’ out of Huntington Beach, CA fared very well at the 300 cars deep and very competitive Chili Bowl. Faas with Jimmy May wrenching, piloted the Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine #73 Sprint to claim 6^th overall at the Winter Challenge 2014 with some consistent and rock solid driving!

We will be heading to Peoria on the 27^th with racing on the 28^th and March 1^st. Come join us as we ignite the 2014 USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series!

3rd Annual WINTER CHALLENGE up next for JFM - Starts this Friday!

Josh Ford Motorsports will have the talents of Nic Faas running the Jimmy May tuned King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack 73 in the upcoming 3rd Annual Winter Challenge in Peoria, AZ at Canyon Speedway Park!

The new season for the USAC SouthWest and West Coast Sprint Cars will get underway this Friday, January 24th, at Canyon Speedway in Peoria. Featuring six races in nine nights, the “3rd Annual Winter Challenge” will draw many talented drivers from across the country in the non-point "Arizona Speed Week." In addition to the races, there will be an open practice on Thursday night from 6pm to 9pm and the annual “Winter Challenge Bowling Tournament” will be on January 28th. Chili Bowl Nationals 2014!! Wrap Up

We had a great time at this 28th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals at River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, OK!

Trey Marcham and Nic Faas have been just great and we can't say enough about them both!! Thanks guys!

Trey and Nic both made it to the Main Event each night in their respective Qualifying Nights. They both finished 16th in those Feature races so that put them to start 11th and 12th in the C-Feature 2 in Saturday's 'Big Show'.

JFM is putting together a 2014 Schedule geared toward competing strongly in both the USAC CRA Sprint Car Series and the West Coast Sprint Car Series.

We will have the skilled wheelman Nic Faas out of Huntington Beach, running the CRA and West Coast races while the talented Marcus Niemela from Rauma, Finland will be running the West Coast and some of the CRA as well. Both of these drivers are very well known and have been racing in some form or another from a very early age. These two drivers are veterans, we have high aspirations for them and are thrilled to have them in our racing family for the 2014 racing year!! @nic_faas | @markusniemela

Josh Ford Motorsports will be in several NON-USAC sanctioned events throughout the year as well as some National races, though we will be focused on the CRA and West Coast Series’. We have not finalized our 2014 Schedule just yet, though our intentions are to run every race in each of these series’ and race for points.
