JFM with Nic Faas and Trey Marcham Friday and Saturday!

Faas will run CRA in Perris on Friday and in Santa Maria Saturday.

Marcham will race in the Western Midget Series Saturday.

Out of Huntington Beach, ‘Cali Ace’, Nic Faas will be piloting the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / JFM #73 for two 410 Sprint Car races this weekend. Coming off a northern Cali swing last weekend in Watsonville and Petaluma, the CRA Sprints will run again for the ‘Firecracker 40’ in Perris and then on to Santa Maria for the ‘Party at the Coast / Doug Fort Memorial’. Faas will race in the CRA both nights. Nic is currently second in points for the CRA Sprint Series claiming a 4th and 7th in last weekend races and has 5 top five finishes this year.


The 2013 USAC-Western States Midget Rookie-of-the-Year, Trey Marcham has won the last two Western Midget races! He won May 3rd in Bakersfield and May 31st at the Thunderbowl in Tulare. Marcham is leading the points chase this year in the Western Midget Dirt Series by nearly 30 points. Trey will wheel the Berry Pack JFM Midget #73 for the ‘Party at the Coast / Doug Fort Memorial’ race in Santa Maria on Saturday.

The always exciting USAC CRA Sprint Car Series is headed up to Northern Cali for back to back races at Ocean and Petaluma!

Michael Pickens, New Zealand, will be piloting the Keith Ford / Berry Pack / King Racing Products JFM #73x. Pickens brings vast talent to track that has produced some winning results! Michael is the current New Zealand Midget Champion, has claimed that title an astounding 6 times, Winner NZ leg of POWRi World International Midget Series and most recently raced Indiana Midget Week and King of the West just last week here at Ocean Speedway where he took 12th.

‘Cali Ace’ Nic Faas out of Huntington Beach will be wheeling the King Racing Products / Berry Pack / A&A Precision CNC Machine JFM #73. Faas is currently 2nd in points and will be looking to make up some ground on leader Damion Gardner over the weekend. Nic, 2008 USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year, has a second, third and 2 fourth finishes running CRA in 2014. Faas has 10 main event CRA wins to his credit!

In Watsonville at Ocean Speedway tomorrow night the pit gate will open at 2:00pm, the drivers meeting & pill draw closes at 4:30pm and the front gate will let the fans in at 4:30pm!

In Petaluma on Saturday night the grandstands open at 4:00pm, qualifying at 5:00, racing at 6:30 pm.

JFM has West Coast Sprint Car leader Markus Niemelä and Nic Faas at Kings Saturday!

Markus Niemelä, Rauma Finland, has held the top spot in the WCSC Series for the better part of the season. He will bring a 40 point lead over second place Matt Mitchell with him to the track on Saturday night. Niemelä placed eighth last weekend in Tulare, though he had 4 top 4 finishes the previous 4 races. Wheeling for Josh Ford Motorsports, Niemela will be in the Spike JFM #73 Sprint.

Faas will be piloting a King Racing Products / Berry Pack / A&A Precision CNC Machine #73x! Faas has had a great year running mostly CRA in 2014. Nic is 8th in the WCSC claiming two 4th place and two 2nd place finishes in the last 4 WCSC Series runs. Faas is currently 2nd in the CRA point’s race.

Kings Speedway has 4 other classes competing Saturday night with the USAC Sprints. The RaceSaver Wing Sprints, IMCA Mods, IMCA Stock, Mini Stock will be part of the evenings events. It’s shaping up to be an exciting evening! Come to the track.

Niemela will bring his 39 point lead in the West Coast Sprint Car Series to continue his pursuit of the title. Niemela and 2014 have worked together to put together some great races and results. Coming off a 3rd just 2 weeks back right here and placing in the top 4 the last 4 races running, Markus will be looking for the win and to widen the gap in the points race. Niemela will be in the Spike #73 Sprint.

Marcham out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma leads the Western Midget Dirt Series, second in the Western Midgets and is coming off a WIN in his last race early this month on May 3rd at Bakersfield Speedway! 2014 obviously has been good for Trey as well. Marcham will be piloting a King Racing Products / Berry Pack / A & A Precision CNC Machine Midget TCR #73.

Faas, Niemelä and Bernal at Ventura Raceway this Saturday!

Josh Ford Motorsports will have 3 very accomplished sprint car drivers running for us in Ventura on Saturday. This is the first time Ventura has hosted an Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series race since 2010.

Nic Faas has been strong all this year, coming off an exciting 4th place showing in Perris last weekend. Faas, hometown Huntington Beach, CA, has placed in the top 6 in every CRA race of 2014. Nic ranks 2nd in the Points race with 247 and will pilot the JFM Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine #73.

Markus Niemelä, Rauma Finland, has been driving for JFM for many west coast sprint races in 2014 with great success. Markus is currently leading the West Coast Sprint Car Series, placing in the top ten every race entered. Niemelä will be wheeling the JFM Berry Pack / King Racing Products #73x.

20 year old Ryan Bernal out of Hollister, CA, a west coast favorite has driven for several teams this year and is truly a talented and fun driver to watch. Bernal is second in the Western Classic Series this year. We are excited to have him running the JFM #73f for us this weekend.

Faas at Perris Auto Speedway and Marcham in Bakersfield this Saturday!!

On Saturday, May 3rd, we will be at Bakersfield Speedway with Trey Marcham.

Trey, New Castle, OK, is currently 3rd in the Points Race for the Midgets in 2014 just 5 points out of the lead early in the Western Midget season.

Gates will open at 4:00, Racing scheduled for 6:00 at ‘The West’s Fastest 1/3-Mile High Banked Clay Oval’. Marcham will be piloting the Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC TCR JFM #73 with Mikey Evans tuning.

Nic goes into Saturday’s race second behind Damion Gardner in points. Faas out of Huntington Beach, CA has placed 3rd and 4th here the last 2 races! Faas has been strong and consistent all year. Faas will be piloting the always potent A&A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack / King Racing Products JFM #73.

Spectator gates for the open wheel spectacular will open at 5:00 PM and the first race will go green at 7:00. The campground will open at noon on Friday. Tailgating in the spectator parking lot will begin at 1:00 PM for all PAS events as well.

Faas and JFM are heading to Calistoga this weekend for the first Western Classic Racing Series race of 2014!

‘Cali Ace’, Nic Faas, Huntington Beach, CA, piloting the JFM King Racing Products / A & A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack #73’s has made the podium 3 times in three races!! If that’s not enough, Nic has placed in the top ten in the last 7 races he’s started, 2nd in the USAC CRA points race and 4th in the West Coast Sprint Car Series points race!

When we started the season we stated we were going to try and run all the WCSC, all the CRA, many of the Midget and Classic races. Well we said, “JFM is putting together a 2014 Schedule geared toward competing strongly in both the USAC CRA Sprint Car Series and the West Coast Sprint Car Series.” The JFM drivers this year are running in the top 5 in all the West coast sprint series’, Faas in two different classes!

Josh Ford Motorsports, with the talented Ryan Bernal out of Hollister, won the points race for the Western Classic Racing Series last year.

"2014 will begin a new chapter for USAC’s Northern California traditional sprint car division. The WCRS has adopted the same successful rules package currently in use by the USAC West Coast Sprint Cars."

This is the first time at Calistoga that points will only be earned under the USAC Western Classic banner at this ½ mile, celebrated “Home of the Louie Vermeil Classic” track.

$2000 will go to the winner on both Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at 3pm. Racing starts at 7pm Saturday and 6pm Sunday.
