JFM, with crew chief Jimmy May, is packing up the 73’s and headed
to Peoria, AZ!
This is The ‘COPPER on DIRT’ at Canyon Speedway Park and we
will running both the CRA Sprints and the Midgets as this will start the 2014 Championship
Season for the USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series and USAC Western States Midgets.
Nic Faas will be piloting the Berry Pack / King Racing
Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine Sprint #73. Nic will be with us all
year running the CRA and West Coast Sprints with some Western Classic peppered
in there. Faas, out of Huntington Beach, CA, finished 3rd overall last
year for the CRA Series and finished 6th in points at the recent
Winter Challenge!
We will also have up and coming Trey Marcham, New Castle,
OK, in the Midget #73. Trey ran strong and represented JFM well with Faas in
this year’s Chili Bowl. Trey just recently took the 2013 USAC-Western States
Midget Rookie-of-the-Year honor!!
Open practice for THE COPPER ON DIRT tomorrow going from 6
PM to 9 PM.
Friday at 4 PM the gates will open here in Peoria and the
racing will get underway about 7 PM. Saturday will have the same schedule as
Friday. All times MTZ.
