WINTER CHALLENGE 2014 - NIC FAAS & JFM

The first 3 nights of the 2014 Winter Challenge are in the books.

With the new season just getting started, JFM has picked up the talents of a fairly young, though very experienced and skilled driver in Nic Faas out of Huntington Beach, CA. for the 2014 season. Faas, running the King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack #73 drove his way directly to the A Main each of the first 3 nights of the this year's Winter Challenge which put him 10th overall in points with 117 so far for this event.

3rd Annual WINTER CHALLENGE up next for JFM - Starts this Friday!

Josh Ford Motorsports will have the talents of Nic Faas running the Jimmy May tuned King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack 73 in the upcoming 3rd Annual Winter Challenge in Peoria, AZ at Canyon Speedway Park!

The new season for the USAC SouthWest and West Coast Sprint Cars will get underway this Friday, January 24th, at Canyon Speedway in Peoria. Featuring six races in nine nights, the “3rd Annual Winter Challenge” will draw many talented drivers from across the country in the non-point "Arizona Speed Week." In addition to the races, there will be an open practice on Thursday night from 6pm to 9pm and the annual “Winter Challenge Bowling Tournament” will be on January 28th. Racing will start at 5:00pm on weekends and 7:00pm on weekdays. – thanks L.Jennings (Happy B-Day!! Lance)

Chili Bowl Nationals 2014!! Wrap Up

Lucas Oil Products Chili Bowl Nationals | Tulsa Expo Raceway | Tulsa, OK

We had a great time at this 28th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals at River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, OK!

Trey Marcham and Nic Faas have been just great and we can't say enough about them both!! Thanks guys!

Trey and Nic both made it to the Main Event each night in their respective Qualifying Nights. They both finished 16th in those Feature races so that put them to start 11th and 12th in the C-Feature 2 in Saturday's 'Big Show'.

Josh Ford Motorsports would like to wish all our fans, partners, racing family and everyone a Happy New Year!! We are excited about our drivers, the schedule and opportunities for 2014!!

Nic Faas and Marcus Niemela, two of the sports best, will be driving JFM for this coming year. We can go on and on about these talented drivers! Faas is coming off an incredibly successful 2013 coming in 3^rd in the USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series Points and Niemela was in the running for the top spot of the USAC West Coast Sprint Series Points through most of the year, finishing 4^th overall.

Our full schedule will be posted soon as we are focusing on the 2014 Chili Bowl coming up here in just 12 short days!! There are 284 entries as of yesterday, December 31^st for this 2014 sprint car kick off event. Driving for JFM at the Chili Bowl will be Nic Faas and Trey Marcham.

We know we will be running all the West Coast Sprint Car Series races posted for 2014 and all of the USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series races for 2014. We will also run most all of the Honda USAC National Midget that coincides with the CRA and/or West Coast races.
