Turkey Night at Perris Auto Speedway this Thursday!

Turkey Night Grand Prix 2014

We have last year’s ‘TNGP Winner’ Dave Darland and last year’s ‘Rookie of the Year’ Trey Marcham!

Thursday, November 27, 2014
74th Annual Turkey Night Grand Prix
USAC Western Midgets and National Midgets
Perris Auto Speedway - Perris, CA

In 2013, ‘The People’s Champ Dave Darland wheeled the King Racing Products / Berry Pack JFM #73 to the Winner’s Circle right here at Perris Auto Speedway!

In 2014, Dave will once again saddle into the #73 car to go for a repeat. Darland is one of only three drivers to ever win this famed event on both pavement and dirt and could be the only driver to win this three times with a win Thursday night. He won here last year on dirt and in 2007 took the win in Irwindale.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma’s Trey Marcham brought his Rookie of the Year status to JFM and has run with us all of 2014. Trey did not disappoint, taking 3 wins and 9 top ten finishes. Marcham is currently 2nd in the Western Midget Dirt and overall Western Midget in the chase for the championship. Last Friday stymied his outlook on winning it all this year, though his talents behind the wheel are without question.

Trey will pilot the Berry Pack / King Racing Products / A&A Precision CNC #73x.

A 98 lap feature race at The PAS will conclude both the National and Western States midget seasons. At post time, Kyle Larson, Bryan Clauson, Christopher Bell, Tracy Hines, Damion Gardner, Mike Spencer, Kevin Thomas Jr and Michael Pickens to name a few of the drivers that will be competing in this celebrated race.

Come to the track down in sunny SoCal and follow the race as it happens right here.

Faas and JFM are heading to Calistoga this weekend for the first Western Classic Racing Series race of 2014!

USAC Western Classic Racing Series
Calistoga Speedway | Calistoga, CA
April 5th and 6th

‘Cali Ace’, Nic Faas, Huntington Beach, CA, piloting the JFM King Racing Products / A & A Precision CNC Machine / Berry Pack #73’s has made the podium 3 times in three races!! If that’s not enough, Nic has placed in the top ten in the last 7 races he’s started, 2nd in the USAC CRA points race and 4th in the West Coast Sprint Car Series points race!

When we started the season we stated we were going to try and run all the WCSC, all the CRA, many of the Midget and Classic races. Well we said, “JFM is putting together a 2014 Schedule geared toward competing strongly in both the USAC CRA Sprint Car Series and the West Coast Sprint Car Series.” The JFM drivers this year are running in the top 5 in all the West coast sprint series’, Faas in two different classes!

Josh Ford Motorsports, with the talented Ryan Bernal out of Hollister, won the points race for the Western Classic Racing Series last year.

"2014 will begin a new chapter for USAC’s Northern California traditional sprint car division. The WCRS has adopted the same successful rules package currently in use by the USAC West Coast Sprint Cars."
L. Jennings - Hosehead Forums

This is the first time at Calistoga that points will only be earned under the USAC Western Classic banner at this ½ mile, celebrated “Home of the Louie Vermeil Classic” track.

$2000 will go to the winner on both Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at 3pm. Racing starts at 7pm Saturday and 6pm Sunday.

Follow the racing as it happens both days here and on Twitter!
